HIGH TECH PRODUCTS
plus myspace really partners with music sites real new business
– - I ended up pro-McCain
– - cancelled due to lack of new people
– - Yahoo! pursuit felt around the world
VALLEYLIST THE WEBSITE or new internet service takes a big step forward with a 3 way split and lots of new content. Priority is “sponsorship” followed by the spending of the money to achieve the vision. Favorite of the week is Mayor Larry Klein in the Palo Alto news because he needed a“carbon footprint’ test” for energy efficiency and it came out off-green. As serendipity simple math and synchronicity would have it, valleylist also scores in the news supporting McCain’s’ “small government big cities” campaign. That’s without yet even sending a press release. Trying to complete the flow chart leads to the revised and upgraded list of pages and page content with only a few graphics tossed in.
I tell sponsors that it’s not that expensive but it takes some money and a little planning and clever execution. To cultivate new sponsors first I’m going to launch a standard “email phone inperson meeting” campaign involving 27 companies and various ad agencies over the next 3 weeks. I’m not going to shop around. It’ll be first come first serve. I’m thinking a “custom” solution to the client’s stated objectives. Then a 15 city tour of the largest cities in silicon valley beginning May 5 at 5pm. Objective – - develop important people and scope out the listing landscape first hand. Google does the same thing drving around in “survey cars” with specially mounted cameras.
“valleylist” - – three focus points
1. internet newsletter
2. Yahoo! newsgroup
3. internet service
Target market is pre-screened interested people who work and or live in silicon valley and have an interest in high tech products companies consumers.
An additional large factor is the people who sell to the silicon valley consumer and business market.
People in the high tech business and political arena who are influential decision makers are the people currently being signed up.
”valleylist” – - three sources of revenue
1. sponsorship
2. special editions and client content – - new product actions – -custom mailings
3. consulting
Fairly certain that valleylist and high tech are pulling their weight to contribute to big Arnold’s bottom line because it’s not just silicon valley that’s hot it’s all of California - - ”California leads the nation” says the American Electronics Association’s “Cyberstates 2008” report.
Without any further ado here is the almost ready for real publication version of “valleylist” the website – -
