  HIGH TECH PRODUCTS

EVERY BODY IS GOING TO DO WHAT THEY FEEL LIKE DOING for food in silicon valley. The war time mentality aside – - because living in a state of fear and anxiety makes people eat more food – - people not watching television waste a lot of time trying to find food. There isn’t any easy answer except to stock up on your favorite foods like vitamin water or potato chips or hamburger stuff and get back to heavy television watching with the cell phone turned on and the computer and email at the ready not to mention a lot unanswered voice mail and an odd interest in working all weekend. My computer is tuned to NING still putting together a list of food social groups such as “NING food social groups malaysian foods food at bangalore penang food food entrepreneurs and most importantly “valleylist network NING” . If you are going to eat all day then the current mode is to not finish all of your food – - no reason.

Mayor of the week this week mr. out-of-towner himself Larry Klein missed a car crash this week and how exciting is that? He also avoids University Avenue food unless it’s out-of-town visitors – - survives on a regular menu of silicon valley food. For most people that is pasta light on the sauce small salad and amazingly enough a glass or two of wine. A typical menu that leaves enough money to pay the bills.

First fridays for example draws a lot of people who would rather do finger food at art openings. Madelines or chips and salsa again. Wine at every opening. Who wants to stop home and prepare a meal. Lots of desert. Lots of junk food in between. Miraculously enough the entire art scene in silicon valley is available on a non-food service called “artsopolis” however they are unable to specialize in silicon valley and that is their big weakness. Sponsors of the new city scene in San Jose include odd groups like the Cultural Affairs and the downtown association then of all people supervisor Sam Liccardo who really want to get this people thing going.

Who needs a real downtown experience? Lots of people. They like spending money to conventioneer their way to silicon valley. It’s business meetings and opportunities to have important people actually take the time to meet and decline as usual the opportunity to make yet another phony million from the internet. The phoney entrepreneurs then retire to their old hotel rooms and spin the bottle again to try to find a new bad idea to sell to the real business people. Lately they just call off spin the bottle and have reall business meetings.

Here’s a new kind of video game to complete an odd thought. No matter what I’m a winner. What do you do when the police department will not let you go? Amazed you find yourself in the middle as the police department keeps a sinister “game” going with the hood everywhere you go. It keeps going until they have ruined everything.  Then you supposedly you “have to give it up” – - good question. It sounds like a new vehicle for Vin Desiel yet the answer is obvious - - you have to be an idiot to ever even give up a dime or a dollar to these people.

The Santa Clara Fire Department recommends that people keep busy since some consider San Jose a veritable kingdom by the sea as opposed to the capital of silicon valley. Try a patch to stay out of trouble.

TOP RESTAURANTS IN SILICON VALLEY

Without question the food in silicon valley is a costly disaster. Is it a defense department experiment run amuck? I’m still wondering why The County of Santa Clara
feels a need to take steps to make sure that food stays with the food people as opposed to – - say for example the Yacht Construction people.

The Computer Memory  and chip companies in the food business is a little scary because they don’t know food they know chemicals and want to do everything chemically. Who’s the big agribusiness company these days – - Agribusiness says it’s still the same old big conglomerates.

People like sports stars in the food business and Roger Clemmons the few superstars to not be in the restaurant business. Big major league sports people in the restaurant business are big news. The odd concern is that they don’t really need to end up like the infamous Dan White of SFPD fame who never let go of his pier 39 potato stand.

INTERNET SOURCES OF INFORMATION ABOUT FOOD

Yahoo! Food is a surprise as opposed to Google Food which lacks it’s own special food content and is yet again just a list of interesting food places on the web.
