LOW LIFE CLUBS AND VENUES are places consumers go to avoid the same people. It’s “Riga” instead of “Starbucks“, “Peet’s” or a respectable place like the 9 listed on AOL’s City Search. Another favorite is Mission City Roastery which features live performances 5 or 7 nights a week. Further out is The Seahorse Saloon in Pacifica which might end up silicon valley’s favorite get-a-way beach. Reality lately is an all day drive fighting traffic all the way to Half Moon Bay.
I’ve been busy first indexing versions of valleylist on the “valleylist – - silicon valley” Yahoo! newsgroup. Still busy wrestling with the idea of having ZRNET – -a big proponent of cybercafes and wi fi – - sponsor “valleylist” for the rest of the year.
