Governator Gets Tesla All Electric Cars In Silicon Valley

SONIC BURGER AND OTHER FAST FOOD EXTRAVAGANZAS have the best commercials. Didn’t they all want to be like the 1950′s drive through diner only with somewhat artificial food and very low prices? I thought sonic burger was ready to make their move and grab up the highly competitive fast food market in silicon valley. Yet again it’s not ready to take on silicon valley apparently which is really mcdonald’s [mcdot] country. I was driving around looking for a good sonic burger  - – only a few dollars for a burger fries and an ice cold beverage – - and I couldn’t find what I was after. The inevitable conclusion – - I must get help. Asking for directions is too difficult for people smart enough to know that sonic burger even exists and has the lowest fast food prices around. So I stopped at mcdonald’s . Blaugh! A few weeks later it was Jack in the Box for their high food offering of blueberry french toast sticks and coffee only $2.90. Then I got stuck in a rut and only months later found the location of the nearest sonic burger out past the central valley in Tracy . In fact I need to go out past the central valley to Stockton CA to find a good sonic burger and pay only $1.65 for my favorite burger in Stockton CA . I’m going to have to take the southern pacific train all the way to Madera CA not far from Fresno for the best burger around – - sonic burger .

MAYOR OF THE WEAK finally too weak to resist fast food. Some might say that sonic burger burger has yet to discover silicon valley and same might be said for Chuck Reed . The very busy Mayor of San Jose has yet to come up with a real pro-business strategic initiative for “The Capital of Silicon Valley aka San Jose. My nominee for Mayor of the Weak is none other than a real life driving force in the valley. Of course his biography says he’s not quite home grown [from back east] I’d nominate Marc Andreesen who recently joined Facebook’s board of directors . He’s a high tech creative force quite himself and kinda works on internet projects. Some people would say it’s a planned assault on the world economy designed to sweep everybody’s money into silicon valley coffers – - to quote some hard hitting big wigs.

It happened to me at the rather advanced age of 40. Before then the only fast food was the KFC at the family picnic. A burger not grilled on a real grill was not welcome at the valleylist ho down – - until I was nearly starving and for some reason the only place still open was the mcdot’s not far from the the beltway better known as outer Newark New Jersey. It was a double cheese burger and fries that somehow made me happier than a clam at high tide as we beach walkers often remark ? The best cheap food in Newark is of course the Philly Cheese Steak fries and pepsi – - $4.95 tax included.  Cheese Steak franchises can quite measure up and end up charging twice as much. Why not an entire Atlantic City style boardwalk bunch of fun food called “the boardwalk” with everything from corn dogs with cheese to sno cones ? Try finding even the smallest fish and chips outlet and you’ll find out fish and chips are no longer desirable enough to support super giant fast food levels of greasy spoon kinds of foods. That reminds me that I’m still trying to find a giant burger in silicon valley – - not quite as good as sonic burger - – yet they flame broil each and every burger to order which sets them apart from from the fast food chains.

IS FAST FOOD REALLY CHEAPER ? No. However they are everywhere and most are open 24/7 . Menus that don’t mislead with added food items that people need to stop and think about. Most fast food places specialize in burgers or pizza with lots of add ons like why is Denny’s serving chinese or mexican food. The after work total of $4.95 at most fast food burger places is not quite as hard to swallow as the $15 fancy burger and fries at a decent restaurant like Buster and David’s . World wide mcdot’s continues to serve billions while most restaurants are successful with a few people waiting in the vestibule for the next available table. There is nobody even close to mcdot’s in the entire history of food – - how’s that for understanding how the world really works. There’s a great new competitor called sonic burger however the infamous food police will not even give them the slightest chance. They live in a real live fantasy football game where donut shops reign supreme and nobody ever needs to make it to the gym. Try separate cars to mcdot’s and see what happens next – -

The taste is the real problem as well as the real nutritional value. Latest trend is even lower cost foods on the now ubiquitous “dollar menu” and the bizarre concept of that people need to measure the nutritional value of fast food to make sure that there’s really food in there as opposed to saw dust and meat substitute.

CONCLUSION These are the big subjects for completing this particularly difficult version of valleylist. Can’t stop eating long enough to purchase a computer ? Yes I can and no I can’t. Send your great ideas along for the new and improved version of San Mateo’s all to famous by now “idea machine” .
