NOLAN BUSHNELL could be summed up as though he just landed on the cover of Metro with a complicated story about actually inventing the video game. here are a few accomplishments
- – Atari famous for “pong” and launching the video arcade game industry was founded in 1972 and sold in 1976 [Atari company]
- – Bushnell went on to Chuck E. Cheese’s a very successful videogame and pizza restaurant [the first chuck e. cheese was opened on winchester in san jose with great videogames and bad pizza]

[served by waiters] and playing video games with other people at the restaurant or
with internet game people
+ now only 3 restaurants mountain view / woodland hills / hollywood
- – also licensing touch screen ordering technology to big restaurants like chili’s
> fridays and applebee’s are among the big restaurant companies that already allow people to order food from PDAs and their services could compete if they let customers order from inside the restaurants with the addition of table top touch screens.

MAYOR OF THE WEEK it could have been nolan bushnell again with a sweep yet the big news is that bernake is out in washington. the obama people want to put an end to the gang mentality that charaterized the republican oak ridge boys way of getting things done. could it mean a more important president than bush is what’s lined up – - that is a very difficult assignment of obama and his team. in the meantime silicon valley has rediscovered youtube. only what’s the san bruno angle all about – - silicon valley continues to grow like a giant aemoba absorbing everything in its path with new technology and rich people.
obama goes youtube YouTube – BarackObamadotcom’s Channel
newsome goes youtube Interactive State of the City
reed goes high definition San Jos~{(~} Gears up Conversion to All-Digital
san bruno and youtube YouTube – Broadcast Yourself
however the weekly mayor of the week award needs to go to menlo park and their new mayor – -Kelly Fergusson elected just this week according to silicon valley news sources.
why not nolan bushnell. it doesn’t pay enough and the problem is you really need to deal with a lot of people like voters and lobbyists and special interest groups. why not a pioneer inventor for mayor. probably too difficult a concept for most people. yet the good news for san jose and all of silicon valley is that even the almost immortal christmas in the park comes to an end at some point – - that would be 01.01.2009.
