I tried hwy 1 and it was a real disaster. the brief stop at the former wyman corral on the way to the beach was almost worth it. I’m still stuck at software. my new lingering concern is the lack of a 21st century software encyclopedia. analysis indicates that the most important pc improvements come from hardware and cpu innovations. gordon moore is really bright – - Moore’s Law: Made real by Intel® innovation. the latest pc performance improvement is specialized processors that send graphics and video into the stratosphere. on the software side the most important new software is email and videogames.  here’s a few top 10 lists just to fill in the gaps pcworld – top business softwarecnet top software downloadsdirt cheap software top pc softwareyahoo shopping software – - product rating interested in publishing the first ever encyclopedia of pc software for the 21st century – - you could find a wide audience of interested pc people.   what’s needed is of course is your own little list of great places to go while visiting silicon valley. >> touring silicon valley - – Tours, San Jose Chamber of Commerce Tourist Information>> attractions – — – San Jose, CA | San Jose Attractions>> museums – - art and culture and high tech- – Museums & Galleries>> amusement parks - – Amusement Parks of the San Francisco Bay Area >> hotels - – Silicon Valley Hotels >> public parks - – santa clara county parks- – san mateo county parks>> high tech Disneyland - – under construction >> lists of attractions and things to do in silicon valley- – metroactive San Jose Club Portal- – metroactive the arts  NEWS NEEDS TO BE NEW (sm) new list of newspaper publishers on facebook ”valleylist” next few versions feature regional information- – tourism- – people can’t find silicon valley- – housing and employement- – what to do in between 2am and the morning commute for those more interested in a virtual tour of silicon valley here are some business facts - – ethnicity maps of santa clara and san mateo county are far and few between however there’s a fun way to evaluate the touristic value of the ethnic experience - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - white – - – - black – - – - asian – - – - hispanicnewark new jersey – - – - 65.6% – - – 21.6% – - – 4.4% – - – - 14.4%san jose california – - – -  50.4% – - -  2.5% – - – 28.6% – - – - 25.6%san francisco ca - – - – -  57.2% – - – - 4.8% – - – 25.1% - – -  11.2%national average – - – - – 79.0% – - – - 10.5% – - – 2.7% – - – - 10.6% cities ranked and rated wiley publishing 2009   MAYOR OF THE WEEK Senator Dianne Feinstein is perhaps the highest ranking democrat next to obama and biden. A former s.f. mayor Feinstein made her mark in 1984 as a pro-business hard worker during the aftermath of the moscone milk tragedy. It remains a critical phase in san francisco’s evolution from a top tourist town to a real big city.  The san jose story continues to read like a torch song of a different kind – - people desperately need chuck reed and rob davis to call of their hate crime research project. Having had first hand experience with the so called carl loeffler project based on “the life of a real human being” when I lived in san Francisco it most certainly leads to something other than the hypothetical “systematic elimination of a real human being” . I found myself living in lower pacific heights on green street on my way to a great job at the san Francisco chronicle. San jose is languishing to the point where the board of supervisors has had to step on it and insist that business proceed inspite of the obvious “hood” problems and people find ways to get to work without being waylaid every few minuites because they missed an appointment. according to the silicon valley alpha list the problem is not the gang of eight or the reign of terror it’s dead people. according to most people “dead people” arethe people who got themselves into so much trouble that they had to change their names and appearance and live a life of crime to pay their bills. like most people i stopped at the corner store or coffee shop or new people up the street or at least found a way to keep busy. that is as far as it goes.   NEW FEATURE EVERY WEEK is a repetitive complaint about being held hostage by the san jose police department gang. this week the official complaint goes to the authorities again with a list of names. attorneys are needed and politicians decided to get involved. a year ago a similar incident with this particularly obstinate group of people was only resolved in a real labor commission hearing – - the recommendation of all involved is that the people causing the problem should make a deal before taking the problem all the way to the courts again.yet again they are certain that they are right. they continue to “insist” that people do what they say, stay in with the wrong people, put up with endless abuse, and endure endless threats of all kinds because they need to be right about the future. oh it’s a special project. oh whatever the excuse is it has become a very big problem. it’s in fact such a large problem that i’ve moved the entire conversation to a new group on NING “the reign of terror” – - http://valleylist.ning.com/group/reignofterror .next week new feature every week needs to be new as well. here’s the latest garbage they want people to believe – - tom harley gets the blame lately over his project to see what else people can do to people with food problems - – as in what else can people do to punish and use people who have food problems. most of the people i’ve talked to are much more interested in commercializing the situation. for example pretend it’s let’s commercialize the internet all over again – - since it was really based on a need for a new world order – - and doing a much better job especially in the area of building a new tops down infrastructure and process based projects as opposed to the slash and burn approach that leaves people and their new programs ruined. i defer to the judgement of Elon Musk for the real meaning of innovation. “take the spin the bottle game for example. it appears that the latest group of people who have yet again their own version of the big spin [based on the life of a real human being so it must be accurate] is stuck in a mode where each spin predicts where the project should end up yet the results are so weird and undesirable that people need to say no all the time.” based on what’s happened so far follow the lead of successful people like facebook friend tom amiano. It’s time to achieve real results yet again.amiano’s win for everybody – - a new identification system. “these [reign of terror] people have an objective so bizarre it’s unbelievable – - to finally completely re-engineer humanity so that it’s ok to be bad . if they don’t get what they want they plan to do it all chemically.” that’s the group of people project. for example it’s ok to hassle people to try to force them to “give it up” .if that doesn’t work this group plans to do it chemically.the real solution was to go on tour with the bush people- – that is some helicopter ride.   additional resources- – - – - – - – - – - – -NING - -  San Francisco Bay Area Sales and Marketing Association Mission Park Lunch 2.0 Greening-Tourism  YAHOO GROUPS - -   DALAHOOO EcoTourismOnLine tourism-csd economic-impact-tourism new-tourism SM-tourism Travel-Tourism-GIS-SIG adventuretourism  youtube - -  Santa Clara – Silicon Valley California San Francisco South Bay Area Rails – DVD People Behaving Badly Mountain View Red Light Runners Space Comercialism and Tourism The Secret History of Silicon Valley YouTube – Intel Museum in Silicon Valley    greg mckennapublishervalleylist2910 stevens creek blvd. #109-503san jose ca 95102   sponsor rates $4,600 a week or $165,000 first yearspecial editions – - new product actions – - custom mailings negotiable  consulting $65 an hour   greg mckennapublishervalleylist  pub@…
