WEALTHIEST AND MOST INFLUENTIAL people in silicon valley are largely inventors. while the list might change every year there’s a group of hard core rich people who dominate. don’t overlook industry leaders responsible carrying on the work of some of the most important inventors of the 20th century. ”valleylist” got there first with the alpha list based on people in the news. this week’s version has some real hard work behind it.

MAYOR OF THE WEEK Mark Zuckerberg got there with the help of the forbes 400 richest people in the u.s.a. list. he also spent time getting into trouble in the search for silicon valley like a lot of normal people. what makes this unusual is nerds and rich people create value. a phenomenon unto itself facebook. my first facebook encounter was from a virgin mobile cell phone as an internet social group option. not really that interesting. later after trying out a few other internet social groups i found i got a lot of responses from facebook.
that sealed it for the “valleylist” recommendation.
what’s also interesting is where the money comes from – - capital investors.
“$500,000 from Peter Thiel, $12.7 million from Accel Partners, $27.5 million from Greylock Partners leading the round, Meritech Capital Partners participating, and Accel Partners and Peter Thiel increasing their investment in the company” . facebook has a way of spilling off the computer screen and into the real world with unexpected results. the real challenge not yet solved is to have the most members of any internet social group. right now it’s myspace with nearly as many members as google worldwide.
on the san jose hostage side of things it’s the sjpd with their final confrontation with reality – - can you find out who is right for the most difficult problem of the 20th century. an old sjpd person asks “do the police turn real men into real women” ?
the answer is “no”. the police don’t really turn people into real women yet they do know people sho get into so much trouble that they decided to change their name and hide out as women or the other way around hiding out as men like the Hilary Swank movie. contrary to conventional wisdom around san jose the sjpd usually stops at arresting criminals and do not need to go as far as turning normal people into real women.
here it is yet again i remain a hostage of the sjpd gang that is threatening everything they can come up with disguised as a “special project” and the police go along with it because they need the business. right now it’s gone as far as ignoring charges for extortion and denying due process by preventing me from getting an attorney. in fact things are so bad i probably need to worry about getting arrested.
