As “valleylist” suggests use your cell phone mostly for the latest news and interacting with internet social groups.however i’m not recommending anything this week except find a new gig as quickly as possible. here’s why.   MAYOR OF THE WEEK congratulations madison nygeun on anti-recall success. The problem was what to call the shopping area in district 7 where Madison serves as supervisor. People were so upset over “little Saigon” versus the “Saigon business district” that they took the entire problem to a vote just this past week on Tuesday 3.2.09 only to find out that the vote was to keep Madison as supervisor. In short the recall effort failed. However that big win for the good people pales in comparison to really important successes. For example sanjay guptka the world renown medical correspondent for cnn had to finally Journalist Sanjay Gupta Withdraws as Potential Surgeon General [as opposed to really ruling the world which was his real ambition]. because of professional and family problems sanjay has decided to remain a happy civilian and let other people run the world into oblivion. A wise decision yet not really what makes mayor of the week these days.  It could be carl guardino and the silicon valley leadership group or the russel hancock people at the state of the valley 2009 conference in san jose says the santa clara weekly.”Home foreclosures increased 184%” is a very big indicator of serious problems. the problem remains no body wants these people really doing anything to change what’s going on. however their work is very important for local politicians and business people because of a need for information from the regional economy. it is nearly impossible to get any real help from the reed / davis people. when it comes to solving the problems left over from the bush regime try “eat more food” . When the next real election comes up and chuck reed is off in sacramento with the hob nobbers it will be because he and his side kick robert davis will not pay their bills. ask jerry brown about the complaints to the state attorney general’s office. i like Gordon Moore on where the chip industry is headed. co-founder of fairchild and intel gordon moore  comments on new technology and the current economic crisis which really has everybody hurting. who to blame is not as important as the silicon valley business people coming up with solutions.  - – what has everybody worried is the very big hit from the dow dropping to a new low of below 7,000 CNN reports dow new low below 7,000. that’s the lowest since 1997 over 21 years ago. who’s going to get the u.s.a. out of the monumental stock market crash. it won’t be bernake a hold over from the bush gang. greenspan – - who belives it’s the worst economy he’s ever seen – - only comes back to Washington from time to time. however obama’s stimulus plan and other important new economic initiatives suggest that people like google’s Sergey Brin worth $15.9 billion  or Pierre Omidyar worth $6.3 billion or Craig R. Barrett intel Chairman of the Board or HP Chairman Mark Hurd or and business leaders like these need to be mayor of the week. nobody else can do the job.   NEWS NEEDS TO BE NEW (sm)”valleylist” sends 95,000 weekly emails to valleylist people and groupsweekly and yearly sponsorships available new planned versions of “valleylist” are as follows[sponsorship negotiable]- – universities – - done- – wealthiest and most influential - - done- – high tech consumer acceptance by product >> current version - – budgets and large sums of money- – new hardware- – a new operating systemLatest development projects are- – news needs to be new (sm) on facebook new group for publishers- – ning internet social group project “spin the bottle” with a new list of characters which is a large application for playing a very big game     NEW FEATURE EVERY WEEK should be about having fun with numbers. on that front there’s an odd problem. publishing companies in the san francisco bay area facing a big challenge from internet companies like yahoo with 500 million members worldwide. the latest twist is that medianews owner of the san jose mercury news is a publishing conglomerate that has all the local bay area papers except for the san francisco chronicle. if the hearst company decides to sell the chronicle to medianews because they are not happy with their financial losses then it’s medianews in the san francisco bay area as opposed to the people we are all most familiar with from the chronicle publishing family The Chronicle Publishing family and the hearst family as well as the tribune. regardless of what happens with the publishing business and people buying and selling news paper companies the biggest concern is politics. here in san jose where i appear to be the only hostage to the san jose police department gang i can tell you that the reed / davis administration is no where as far as finding solutions to any problems. what keeps them going is the great whirligig of excitement created by the bush people and their bizarre “game of the century” which was supposed to last only a year. these people have made a fortune from the bush project and want to continue until somebody makes them stop. time to call an adult.    additional resources- – - – - – - – - – - – -NING – -  FOLIO: mediaPRO CNBC Awaaz Tech Pro Motivation Project Neo-Tech – New Technology YAHOO GROUPS - -  consumercourt calcars-news hbs_tech_jobs UK_Product_Marketing PSPM siliconvalleyproductmanagers youtube - - HIGH TECH PRODUCTS WITH INSTANT RESULT!  The Consumer Electronic Show 2008: High Tech in the Desert Jo at Consumer Electronics Show – Playboy’s Gamer Next Door Official Consumer Reports Consumer Report & Reviews  You Chose Product Marketing – Part One You Chose Product Marketing – Part Two   greg mckennapublishervalleylist2910 stevens creek blvd. #109-503san jose ca 95102   sponsor rates $4,600 a week or $165,000 first yearspecial editions – - new product actions – - custom mailings negotiable  consulting $65 an hour   greg mckennapublishervalleylistvalleylist_news@…
