GOOGLE THE SPECIAL EDITION indicates that at the beginning of google it seemed the search business had only a new entrant. with high performing stock an expansive business strategy and proprietary search and advertising products google is at the zenith of the search food chain. some thought google was the messiah. “valleylist” is solidly behind a need for new internet technology that will make google and all other search companies look like cheap fast food. google is more of the same with somewhat improved technology and proprietary algorithms. perhaps most impressive is the success of the expansive business model that goes far outside of the realm of the internet to create a new reason to google as often as possible.
most importantly google is not a big looser in a down economy.
>google 5 year stock performance is indicative of very high performance stock when compared to the other stock market indicators.
after the latest stock market crash the high tech companies and their stock declined in value while google and a few other companies continued to perform for share holders
>google revenues [1st quarter 2009] tell the story of what’s driving stock value.

>a little google history reveals its not that different from the rest of the search companies
google is just like almost any typical silicon valley start up
google founded 1988 by stanford students Sergey Brin and Larry Page
the company has a funny computer-esque name like yahoo
- – What’s a Google? “Googol” is the mathematical term for a 1 followed by 100 zeros
not to be taken lightly google has 10,000 employees and 137,620,000 monthly visitors
google company milestones are a silicon valley anti-startup story unto itself
>google is famous for it’s very advanced features
google maps
google space
google adsense
google search
>what’s going on with search by the numbers

its got great features and a lot of money behind it yet “valleylist” remains unconvinced. The reason. google is among the few companies out there to come up with a new internet technology and then proceed to find the money needed to successfully commercialize their high tech product. The first great success in this category of course was the legendary mosaic browser and index which spawned netscape the first search company listed on the stock market. “valleylist” is convinced that google in fact illustrates the point. What’s really needed in new internet technology. What would make google really great is if it looked and functioned very differently than yahoo or the other search companies that got there first. However there is an obvious lack of internet technological innovation. google does a good job however it should really do a much better job at providing really great internet search and other services.
MAYOR OF THE WEEK even though google is located in mountainview with an obvious momentary tribute to stanford for help coming up with new search and advertising technology its follow the money past daly city to sunnyvale where competitor and industry founder yahoo is still hanging out. That’s where mayor of the week Anthony (Tony) Spitaleri that’s completed a new mall and brining in new high tech businesses. The latest mall news is at the sunnyvale downtown redevelopment information and opened a new mall. In addition to yahoo sunnyvale includes AMD Digi International DIONEX iBEAM ipVerse Integrated Systems Philips Semiconductors Proxim Rendition Shoreline Teleworks Silicon Magic Corporation Synplicity and TCI/BR.
for die hard googlers here’s the map to mountainview’s Google Inc.
NEW FEATURE EVERY WEEK as lots of people know former vp dick cheney “the dark lord” is a big proponent of caltrain and County of Santa Clara Supervisor Ken Yeager - – ken.yeager@… – - is pushing silicon valley cities to get involved. stake a claim in caltrain and BART to Silicon Valley because they mean lots of new money. the big problem with dick cheney however is that he fired his old republican entourage from George Mason University however he is stuck with thinking is a new idea to be “bad” to people. time was people were good before they found everybody wasting their time and ended up bad. rumor is that presidential hopeful tom ridge is really behind the “bad” movement in the republican party. even worse than swartzenegger with his “girly girl” comment ridge and the rest of the very right wing reactionaries lost a lot of people over their don’t be a “woman” project as well as their efforts.
What was even worse was the republicans trying to innovate and claiming “sloppy logic” or ”bug logic” was a new idea. All of it came from Stanford students in the 1950′s testing new kinds of software. What’s even worse is that they want people to run around and try to shut down their “bad” project and their other weirdo “sloppy logic” or “bug” projects. With everybody fired and a new team in Washington people need to wonder what will it take for the former white house people to get the message. Here’s what they are still pushing – - a version of communication for example if i think it or say it then it must come true. also bad news if i show up at the same time as something happens then it must come true. even worse is my bills or negative slights on people must come true.
all of this and much worse is in the area of the “reign of terror” where the old school republicans can figure it out. People don’t want the so called “bug logic” project. They don’t want to have to go through firing all of the old republican lobbyists again and again because their projects are a deliberate sabotage in the form of stupidity.
most of all it’s too costly to the u.s.a.’s future.
Here’s an odd thought. If google were a more compelling high tech product then there wouldn’t be a need for old school republican projects to be rebuked.
NEWS NEEDS TO BE NEW (sm) is the result of the “valleylist” agenda to invest in the business and offer a wide range of publishing products and services. it’s the email newsletter “valleylist” that started it all and the new products and services in the pipeline are very high potential and interesting. while sponsorship and new business opportunities are negotiable it is only with a real meeting involving responsible parties.
