PARKS AND REC [ALREADY A MOVIE] or a television series on NBC. I thought it was a movie however as everybody knows the internet is always right. Yahoo has it listed as a television series. Most of the time people don’t think of the end of spring as the start of new movies. if it’s a movie you are after then the most reliable sites are

Yahoo! Movies

Movie Tickets & Theater Showtimes

San Jose Mercury News – Movies

Metroactive movies

Parks and Recreation featuring the main character Leslie Knope the SNL famous starlette Amy Poehler has a lot of the very off humor that people associate with the SNL tradition of keeping people involved in laughter while nothing happens. Not my favorite it seems that the movie [or television series] is really for the high school gang who tried everything that they could to get kicked out of school including getting arrested for no reason. Bring a beer and keep the computer plugged in.

however the review by fandango says why not

a traditional approach for the “valleylist” people is to consider parks and rec like any other high tech area to be investigated. With people already wasting too much of everybody’s time for no reason parks and rec needs it’s own special list.

however the parks and rec phenomen is already causing a lot of people to stay clear of the very busy areas and find a little fun and excitment in the parks and rec areas around silicon valley.

if there’s a big problem bring a dvd player and watch your movies at the park while the steaks and picnic food come up for air. the most exciting thing however is a new park or picnic area that offers a sensory and somewhat cerebral encounter as well. the old phone company v.p. famous for wanting to screw everybody ted west has a solution to everything. go picnic with the gang out in tiburon and waste everybody’s time until the [mis]takes are ready.

MAYOR OF THE WEEK past Daly City and follow the money to santa clara where its Patricia M. Mahan that’s keeping an eye on high tech and their money. didn’t obama do an investgation because it’s the people getting rich lately. The rich need scrutiny and not the usual ongoing investation of nothing in particular. Microsoft, Google and General Electric and HP are among the many companies to take the hit because there’s nothing like a republican overdose to end up with the rich getting too rich.

- – OBAMA to stop companies avoiding tax payments

- – Obama goes after rich and powerful tax shelters

- – Intel fined $1.45 billion in EU antitrust case

- - Intel says EU fine won’t lead to dividend cut

intel got caught apparently scheduling sales of processors to keep prices up and clients were not happy. the big problems with intel and the eu are nothing compared to the enormous economic hit from the post bush-cheney era of fleecing everybody for no reason.

santa clara companies that fall under mayor mahan’s watchful administration include

AGILENT TECHNOLOGIES

APPLIED MATERIALS

CENTRAL COMPUTER SYSTEMS, INC

INTEL CORPORATION

MICRO CENTER

NATIONAL SEMICONDUCTOR CORPORATION

NORDIX COMPUTER CORP

Nvidia Corporation

SMART CITY NETWORKS

To find more high tech industry leaders try the santa clara chamber of commerce. what i like most is the large Central Park area in santa clara far from the hum of the freeways and the odd silence of the high tech companies that line the avenues.

that’s a lot better than pretending that cnn does political coverage or that the east coast can live without the washington post and the latest real political news.

it’s a city with the best parks and rec anywhere in the world.

NEWS NEEDS TO BE NEW (sm) is the result of the “valleylist” agenda to invest in the business and offer a wide range of publishing products and services. it’s the email newsletter “valleylist” that started it all and the new products and services in the pipeline are very high potential and interesting. while sponsorship and new business opportunities are negotiable it is only with a real meeting involving responsible parties.
