NEW PROCESSORS LEAD THE WAY. intel founder andy grove suggests that famous people lead the way and consumers follow. the largest in the world intel is a multi-billion dollar computer processor company. the intel pentium processor is among the most recognized brands world wide.

speaking of processing lots of information the san jose public library publicly endorsed a winner with the joyce ellington branch at the 1 year birthday event. supervisor sam liccardo was  master of ceramonies. ellington manager keye luke and smokey the bear did the cake cutting. the new concept – - a small neighborhood library – - is a big success.

gwen stefani is the dream 21st century librarian leading the way with new tour dates. superstars stefani and no doubt yet again by-pass san jose for the [pauly shore]line amphitheatre according to the metro’s music preview no doubt. the thing with pauley shore is that he wants another “legal” movie like the lapd spoof jury duty. otherwise he’s slated for more anti-culture movies like bio-dome.

in the meantime the “valleylist” new marketing program continues touring the 10 largest cities in the u.s.a. bringing everybody this week to los angeles the 2nd largest city in the u.s.a.

the fun with numbers committee points out that l.a.’s home state california features 3 [ los angeles san diego san jose ] of the 10 largest cities in the u.s.a. california’s population of 37 million  proves the point – - #1 largest state leads by a large lead. texas – - #2 with only 23.5 million – - lags way behind. look up state populations from the census bureau.

MAYOR OF THE WEEK campbell ca with amazon taking over at netflix its high tech excitement and energy. mayor jane p. kennedy [janek@cityofcampbell.com] is probably courting video streaming companies and internet newbies. the amazon theory is that netflix does old movies online and amazon has been doing new movies. netflix is a high tech company in need of a new direction and amazon has the successful track record to get it done.

with real progress coming from an amazon-owned netflix the city of campbell needs to add more high tech businesses that are in the internet area. is everything online like the summer concert series schedule and the summer 2009 activity guide? try www.downtowncampbell.com for more information.

campbell’s city manager “pinned” his new police chief Greg Finch [campbellpolice@cityofcampbell.com] on March 6 at a special pinning ceremony held at the heritage theatre. look for amazon.com to expand to silicon valley very soon based on campbell‘s great weather and lots of rich people needing to spend money.

NEW FEATURE EVERY WEEK focuses on los angeles publications

antonio r. villaraigosa is the 41st mayor of los angeles. los angeles city government is entertained by an endless stream of new talent and corruption. there’s no room for failure. with high tech taking over the entertainment industry l.a. is a great market for silicon valley companies. it’s also a great market for new publications although it’s saturated with television and cable. try a los angeles public library or the los angeles chamber of commerce for clarification. if all else fails call the los angeles police department currently finding out that life out of jail is a big improvement  - – u.s.a. judge releases los angeles police from federal oversight spawned by corruption scandals.

the “valleylist” marketing plan is assuming that for the 10 largest cities in the u.s.a. it’s really the publications that make the difference.

NEWS NEEDS TO BE NEW (sm)

improvements this week come from retiring the number 65 which is more or less a bush-cheney number. if “valleylist” changed the consulting fee should it go up or down. follow apple and lower prices when volume is high and the economy is bad. let’s say the new consulting fee is $46 and hour.

those who enjoyed the bush-cheney “game of the century” will appreciate the importance of finally retiring the number 65 because it left a lot of people out in the cold trying to find out what the police were doing about the “hood”. in reality it never was a “hood” project however fred lau and the gang of 8 want to continue regardless of the impact and not listen to anybody. it is really time to call it off.

the san jose side of things is stuck with chuck reed barbara reed robert davis and their “gay gang” still running around doing the worst things in the world to people for no reason. excuse. they were taken in by the ted west and john barnette sci-fi “hood” future lifestyle project. dick cheney [featured in tom tomorro's this modern world with the regis people] fired the “gang” canceled the “bad people society” project for lack of interest and resumed his political career. yet again it’s reed / davis barking up the wrong tree.

massive investment in new technology drives the world economy. silicon valley and companies like intel drive the high tech market otherwise the next guy on the list might get to move up to a bigger market position and higher ranking.

there is only one “valleylist” and here it is.
