WHY GREEN POWER FELL OFF THE FACE OF THE PLANET needs to be the most important project of the new century.

no actually what i mean is “green power” needs to be the most important project of the new century.

stop further research. it seems like recycling and high mileage cars should complete the job of eliminating green house gases. problem is it appears very boring. like al gore the avatar this week “green power” could be criticized for simply being too boring. in reality ”green power” is a very busy agenda with millions of people involved in finding ways to eliminate the global warming problem. so if it’s the actionable concept like “green power” as opposed to a passive concept like “stop global warming” perhaps there would be more excitement and success for this very important world wide initiative.

it seems boring anyway. that is probably the cause of “green power’s” difficulty in achieving real and meaningful success. what happened? did gore move on to a new project? who is supposed to continue to keep the focus on global warming? gore got the project going with an inconvenient truth. gore and his team brought the “stop global warming” campaign to world wide attention. after the nobel peace prize 2007 for anti-global warming projects gore went on to become even more famous. who’s in charge of “green power” these days? in washington it’s probably stuck in a congressional deadlock awaiting review by the obama people.

after joining silicon valley start-up specialist kleiner perkins al gore “inconvenient truth” and a lot of washington people got involved in solving the global warming problem. vice president al gore did a lot for bill clinton’s liberal win over the cold war republicans. these days the very needed war on pollution seems to not be leading anywhere. it’s a daily problem and people follow the stop global warming program. i don’t think it’s getting anybody anywhere.

the problem is a fundamental passive approach to the subject. it’s “stop global warming” as opposed to “get in there and measure carbon dioxide every day”. there’s very little for consumers to do other than recycle. in spite of the incredible degree of success the “anti-global warming” world leader is perceived of as a boring person – - al gore weird not boring. washington is too busy and with no obvious leader at the top in washington the program continues to appear ineffectual and the results and just not there. even the federal energy regulatory commission is too busy. ”valleylist” actually blames the leadership and points at the weak communications program.

 - -  “in 1970, we imported 24% of our oil. today it’s more than 65% and growing.”

>the private sector however is really getting results

- – solar power

obama sees solar ending the u.s.a.’s dependency on foreign oil.

“we know the cost of our oil addiction all too well,” said obama at nellis airforce base. “it’s the cost measured by the billions of dollars we send to nations with unstable or unfriendly regimes. we help to fund both sides of the war on terror because of our addiction to oil”.

it’s not the “gang of 500″ or other special interest groups or the “hood” project that deserve all the money and attention. whatever the bush-gore social re-engineering people were up to it is an obvious failure. put the money into “green power”.

“green power” needs to be most important. the results affect everybody. it’s consumers at a daily level as well as at the major expenditure level. it’s city governments who consume vast amounts of polluting energies that need to change the infrastructure. it’s the federal government that needs to fund energy saving programs as well as abandoning the war in oil rich countries. most of all it’s the private sector that needs to invent the technological solutions to global warming problems and get them to customers and get it right the first time. here’s what it looks like when “green power” falls off the face of the planet

“green power” not “stop global warming”

MAYOR OF THE WEEK san bruno mayor larry franzella because there’s a lot of san bruno to develop other than mount san bruno youtube and auctionwatch.com and the tanforan shopping center.

a visit to the san bruno chamber of commerce will tell that it’s not yet a silicon valley city. in fact the history of san bruno includes the city’s evolution from horses and meat to high tech. just south of south san francisco the city of san bruno is not known for anything other than at some point youtube set up shop. probably attracted to the area because of it’s nearness to san francisco san bruno is big on cable television with san bruno cable. the other big industry like the rest of the cities south of san francisco is transportation with a hub including bart samtrans and caltrain. the high tech future of san bruno needs help. great opportunities for internet and cable television video programming and production services. what’s time warner doing investing in mountainview anyway?

neil telford police chief for the san bruno police [police@sanbruno.ca.gov] will tell you that there is not much going on in this small city of 46,000. mostly commuters who would rather work in a higher income bracket silicon valley city. the traffic noise catches up with people and they pray that the fed will come through with high speed rail.

please call off the commuter attack on the american public.

NEW FEATURE EVERY WEEK takes “valleylist” to philadelphia one of the most important cities in the founding of the united states of america. a brief history of philadelphia starts us off followed by the liberty bell and a liberty bell timeline. then there’s the declaration of independence timeline for those unclear on the concept of who won the revolution and what they decided.

philadelphia population 2,144,000 surprisingly enough is not the capital of state of pennsylvania the 6th biggest state with 12.5 million people. in fact even though philadelphia was almost the original capital of the u.s.a. it’s harrisburg that is the state capital. what’s interesting is that philadelphia is among the many east coast cities that rebounded from the brink of “hood” warfare and gang destruction to become a model of big city success. thank politicians like mayor nutter and the philladelphia city council for taking the needs of young people and working adults seriously and coming up with solutions instead of problems. while researching philadelphia “valleylist” finds that much to “valleylist’s” surprise craigslist adds 140 new cities to add to the list that already includes craigslist philadelphia.

with so much to do in philadephia there’s a lot to be said for a brief visit to the free library of philadelphia or the philadelphia chamber of commerce. also worth a brief visit is the university of pennsylvania where many linguists got their start dreaming of being as famous noam chomsky. like chicago the city of philadelphia is famous for music and “that philly sound“.

if you’re going to tour the 10 largest cities in the u.s.a. then you’ll need to know which publications can help you get around and find what you need.

- – philadelphia publications

business journal
city paper
metro chinese weekly
philadelphia asian news
philadelphia daily news
philadelphia inquirer
philadelphia weekly
the bulletin

there are those who would like to move the city of philadelphia into the state of new jersey because an important state like new jersey should have a big city of it’s own. unfortunately those in the secessionist group waited way too long because the issue was decided. william penn in the 1700’s claimed everything he could see for the state of pennsylvania from a mountaintop in philadelphia.

very ambitious rich people are now restricted to off shore islands and running for political office. in either case bad results are unacceptable.

there is only one ”valleylist” and here it is.

NEWS NEEDS TO BE NEW (sm)

according to those who run to washington  [like ameria's founding families] there’s a very big problem with dick cheney and his “gang of 500″ project. the entire thing is intolerable. please cancel your “gay gang” and go with normal mob people who are interested in business. the “fantasy game” is a write off. write them off with the infamous flat earth myth and other die hard fanaticists unable to cope with reality.

take for example the ”separate nation” project. the visciousness of the “ear” people and the “girl” people is unacceptable. in fact these odd subgroups come from [surprise] the police department and their “group of people”. these are excons who seem to need to torture people for no reason. the “ear” people do things to make the ear very sensitive and the subject the people involved to unexpected loud noises and the daily high pitched squeal. only to torture people. the “girl” people like to terrorize people with implicit threats on turning them into “real women” in every possible way including then you are ”hiding out as a real woman” or “living as a woman” or ”forced to dress as a woman” and obviously ”need to be married and give up everything you own to the people picking you up”.

these two groups are so viscious that the fed has decided to start a nation wide crack down because their objective is abduction and extortion and then, if all else fails, people just disappear, don’t they. that’s that sjpd “gay gang” that everybody has been complaining about for 11 years and still they need to “prove their point”. most people walk away from these hate crime groups. however when they begin to follow people around then hunt people down and try to have them eliminated the authorties intervene. that’s 11 years of trying to get these excons to calm down and manage their situation in a new way that does not require that the authorites solve their problems for them.

this is the “reign of terror” problem. people don’t approve of their terrorist tactics.
