THE MAGICAL MYSTERY TOUR that took place after the beatles broke up was a quest for inner peace all around the world. not to be confused with the album the magical mystery tour the break up of the beatles found everybody going in different directions. from “paul is dead” to paul mccartney travels to the far east while george harrison meditates with yogi ravi shankar in india and john lennon takes on new york city while ringo starr takes up badminton and rejoins the british upper crust and makes the top 10 again with it don’t come easy and photograph

it remains the most sensational publicity stunt ever.

the beatles became the top selling artists of all time.

paul mccartney came back with wings and band on the run. “valleylist” people still claim “ram” is the most sensational album ever. george harrison and badfinger stayed on top of the pop charts as well with my sweet lord and come and get it. john lennon took on the american media with yoko ono and the plastic ono band. they were on the cover of every magazine and in the news every day.

lennon’s assasination was the worst thing that could have happened.

john and yoko were better off playing the media game in a safer environment like montreal or toronto canada [where yoko took asylum]. yoko didn’t continue the musical tradition but julien lennon topped the charts with valotte and too late for goodbyes.

ringo starr stayed around and enjoyed the peace movement. the albums and top 10 singles from goodnight vienna and bad boy. every album was pure musical genius.

george harrison ‘s death from natural causes further shocked the world. perhaps the most mystical of the fabfour george harrison was the beatle that sought inner peace and practiced yoga and meditation.

paul mccartney never stopped touring and to this day continue to sell out every stadium and concert hall.

“valleylist” thinks the beatles succeeded where others merely topped the charts.

their idea was to bring musicality to rock and roll. theses mopheads not only play musical instruments they read and write music like professional musicians.

all the other musical acts went tie-died t-shirts and jeans. the beatles wore those odd black suits and ties with white shirts. led zep was ahead of the pack with rock and roll tinged with blues like dazed and confused and communications breakdown. the beatles went lyrical with great song writing like paperback writer and help!. even their endless practice sessions were recorded and video taped because they were just too talented to believe.

“valleylist” went pop culture long ago with the simple objective of focusing on technology and politics. with 5 million readers a week “valleylist” is looking at being as big as a high tech yahoo with 500 million readers.

from here until monday 2.15.2010 “valleylist” will be working the ad agency angle with organic in the lead. it’s time to add new members to the “valleylist” social group. important tour dates include the ces las vegas 1.07.2010 1.10.2010 and macworld sf 2.9.2010 2.13.2010. I’m also planning self incineration to get attention to my cause. then it’s the mayors conference mentioning “valleylist” as official high tech newsletter. the year 2009 wraps up with technocrat wizkids at twitter endlessly fascinated with the age old devo question “are we famous yet”?

the next version of “valleylist” monday 2.15.2010.
