“RUBY” DON’T TAKE YOUR LOVE TO TOWN. turning tricks. cheating. lying to your loved one. not really as popular as you’d think. modern music likes love songs. most popular. happy music. feel good. top 40. is it the blues? ruby is just a hackneyed old theme. check out the early days of rock’n roll music. “ly’n cheet’n hurt’n” perhaps the best lyric of all so far. that’s led zep. original song. it is the blues “your time is gonna come”. wondering where the next song is going to come from?
.

i suggest maybe something danceable perhaps from madonna again or marylin manson or beck.

top 10 analysis

everybody from kenny rogers to jimi hendrix to michael jackson to madonna tried this theme. not that popular. immortal kenny rogers hit #1 with ruby dont take your love to town (1967) kenny rogers and the new edition. much later same idea roxanne (1978) the police get noticed make top 10 and #1 world wide. get noticed. get a #1 hit. few are as great yet red house (1965) jimi hendrix is soloing and waiting for his love to return. it ends with a joke. who could hang a name on ruby tuesday (1966) rolling stones make #1 with a great british song. love gone bad. spectacular is the only way to describe dirty dianna (1988) michael jackson hard rock interpretation of same old theme. did she cheat on me again. cheating again bad girl (1982) madonna is among the upset people in this video. holy terror bringing back those lyin eyes (1975) the eagles describe the phenomenon as you can’t hide. another great classic take me to the river (1974) al green is the blues artist you’d expect sad to be cheated on. it better be “green” was another interpretation of remake remodel version.take me to the river (1978) talking heads. need a number #1 hit. try old soul with money in it. they love the song. perhaps best only because after “lyi’n cheat’n hurt’n”.your time is gonna come (1969) led zeppelin already at the top doesn’t need any help. just genius.

.

kenny rogers song is the best. it’s a perfect song. like bob dylan. they all say “baby don’t do it”. yet its impossible to tell who is the best. who’s the greatest classic artist in this group of super great artists. that would be kenny rogers and his back up band the first edition. started it all way back1960’s with led zeppelin great radio play and top 40 today. super songs.

.

digital or digital television

turning tricks. should be a very popular theme in music. yet there are only a few odd music videos and live performances in this group. great songs. finding ten songs in popular music is too difficult. the “ruby” theme is perhaps too negative. television very popular with these 10 artists though their approach is very traditional blues. sad theme. love gone wrong. these 9 songs from 10 artists are very popular. otherwise just the old tired concept of my baby’s bad to me. the 10 artists this week did a lot of studio singles music videos and television appearances.

conclusion
kenny rogers dumped “ruby” a long time ago right after he hit it big. too many problems. strange characters. acting out of control. really just like music. really good music. kenny rogers went with “the gambler” theme and character. very good. accolades. i was very impressed with “ruby” this song in particular the first time. i heard it on the radio. what’s wrong. upset. great lyrics. songwriting. of course kenny rogers is the best. singing. playing guitar. the best in the industry. don’t do it. don’t leave.
